So beautiful! I love donkeys. I think they are my favorite farm animal. :-)
How beautiful! I love the cow's trough.
Thank you for sharing!
I am in love with the squirrel!!
You know I love the Buntspechte figures...They are so beautiful!...I am really loving the donkey and squirrel though :-)
Buntsspechte figures are my favorite of all out there. Lo loves them, too of course. Her teacher has a few in her room. I plan on starting a little collection for her on this upcoming birthday. Do you order yours on line or are you lucky enough to have a store nearby who carries them?!
Thank you guys! When I really think about it, sometimes I feel a little silly when I post pictures of the Buntspechte... like I'm saying "Hey everyone! Look at our new toys!". They are just really lovely to photograph as well as play with :).
Tahara and Nicole, you know the funny thing about the squirrel is that I ordered it sight unseen! I saw it listed on The Puppenstube price list but no photos online or in the catalogue, but decided to take the leap of faith that it would be as pretty as all the other figures and I wasn't disappointed.
Runnin'- I order them from a lovely woman (Christine at the Puppenstube) I met at a Waldorf Faire last Fall. We've actually become internet friends since she hears from me every month when I get my allowance :). She doesn't have a brick or morter store, but just lives across the bay from me, so I usually get these items the next day. You should really contact her! What pieces are you going to get for your lovely Lo?
I just orderd the squirrel from Christine and it is lovely!!!! I can barely wait to give it to my son (with Woody, Hazel & Little Pip) for his birthday. We are on the East Coast and still we got it right away. I don't know of any other US store that sells the Buntspechte (please, let me know if there is). And Marina, thank you for showing off your I mean your kids' ;-) collection...it helps to see the pieces in photographs as you can't pick them up and hold them at any store. And you are right they are beautiful to look at. I love that they make for sturdy toys as well as beautiful to see around the house. I'm saving my pennies for another piece...just can't decide which one! ;-)
oh my gosh..i love those!!!! i need to see if our bandsaw will in fact work well enough so i can at least make some until i can afford them..LOL they are just sooooo sweet...
thanks for sharing! :D
I have to agree with Marina about Christine...She is a lovely woman, the kind of person you enjoy supporting :-)
