Solitude

I have a house where I go
When there's too many people,
I have a house where I go
Where no one can be;
I have a house where I go
Where nobody ever says "no";
Where no one says anything- so

There is no one but me.

Very sweet. I love "Halfway down the stairs is a stair where I sit, There isn't any other stair quite like it..."

I love this post! So sweet and gentle. I love it when I see the kids taking time for themselves.

Thank you all so much!

MamaUK- Matteo had asked me to help him build a tent, so we put together some old branches and draped it with an old quilt- I think I love it more than the wooden outdoor playhouse :)

Nicola- Yes that is our yard, the plum seige FINALLY ended so it was safe to venture onto the grass again

Thank you so much Gardenmama and Lisa! It was sweet to see him in his own "space" physically and mentally

Renee- I LOVE that quote, I had to look it up to get it in it's entirety! Thanks for passing that along!

Nicole- you're welcome :) I hope you're getting some sleep and are remembering to breathe...

Oh, the innocence of AA Milne! I am so in love with everything he has ever written. This poem is so perfect for this photo.
